During his career, he also managed an arts non profit in New Haven; worked building sets for the amazing Walter Wick’s Can You See What I See series; managed a top 100 contemporary art collection in NYC; and facilitated an artist residency program.

In 2014 Michael established Heartwood Renovations, with the intention of combining his extensive construction and arts backgrounds. Together with his talented team, Heartwood has been creating custom, handcrafted projects ever since.
